Who this article is for.
February is the month for lovers and as such, I feel like I need to clarify who this article is for. This article is for gamers who are already of legal consenting age and are either married or have a life partner. This article is definitely not meant for teenagers nor the younger gamers. If you happen to be either one of those, then stop reading now and come back in a few years, as these tips will still apply.
Unfortunately, you don’t have a say so of when you were born. For some, perhaps your parents didn’t either. However, you don’t have to repeat the past. A planned birth is always the best approach, as you can be financially, physically, and mentally prepared for the ultimate Sims experience… parenting. However, here’s the kicker; if you and your spouse are gamers and you expect your children to be gamers as well, here are some helpful life hacks that can make life easier and more enjoyable for you and your children.
Of all the months in the year, February is the month that should be taken advantage of to have children if you are planning for them to be gamers. The majority of births happen after a 9 month period, give or take a week or two. If you succeed in getting your partner pregnant in the month of February you should expect a child by November, and this is when things get interesting for all parties involved. Depending on when you are reading this article, you may be running out of days, so get those loins going.
Speaking from experience, November is the ideal month for a gamer to be born. If you are the parent of a November baby, several advantages will work in your favor. For one, games will be heavily discounted as early as the first week of November. Also, if you are trying to buy a console for your child, it is usually at this time that bundles for themed consoles go on sale, and they usually already include their own game. From a child’s perspective, those born in November can ask for more games because chances are they will be on sale. Also, even if they are born on the last day of November, it is far enough away from Christmas to still get a Christmas present, if that’s something that your family celebrates. Finally, along with the many games that November babies will receive, they will also get a good week off from school to enjoy those games during the Thanksgiving break.
First Hand Experience
As a November baby myself, I can attest first hand that my greatest gaming experiences usually happen yearly around or soon after November. Every year, I look forward to November because of the Black Friday sales and how well they align with my birthday. One final life hack you that I take advantage of is to ask for Xbox, Playstation, or Steam gift cards. If you’re looking for a full priced game or are more of a digital game consumer, gift cards are a great way to continue your online investment or to stock up for future digital sales, which nowadays seem to happen more often than people drink water.
