200 is old!

Four years ago on March 25, 2014 four guys gathered together for the launch of Titanfall and to chat with each other about games.

“Welcome everyone to the first podcast… hopefully it goes well…” David said before immediately messing up by playing the wrong sound for the now famous news segment with Jordan. Looking back and listening to the very first podcast is an extreme contrast to what I watch every Friday night today. However the format and fun environment that bros introduced has been the staple of the show and our community ever since. The very first podcast featured a barely legal JORDTHEMAN_XOB, a barely bearded MRMCSPICY, the nice canadian from Canada RADLIKEMYDAD, and as always the way too excited XONEBROS.

Over the past 200 episodes a lot has changed, but one thing that hasn't changed is the classic one word introductions that Jordan utters every Friday. The secret to the success of the bros is that they don't do anything on the show that they wouldn’t already be doing off air. The bros merely talk about games and share it with the world, and they have too fun much of a time doing it.

I first listened to the podcast on a whim when I searched “Xbox” in iTunes podcasts, and downloaded the show just to try it. Since Episode 128 I’ve been hooked on the good times and positive gaming community. My Fridays have now become far more interesting and fun thanks to the bros. I’ve also learned just how awesome gaming can be when you add in some of the coolest guys and gals around. This is the one place to find the greatest community of gamers out there and it just keeps getting bigger and better.

For those of you who are new, let me tell you just a few things about the bros. Mark hates sports games (as do I) and may be the biggest anime and sci fi fan of the trio. Jordan is always having “a good day” and will be spending each and every week from now until the end of time “umm… playing a lot of games”. Then David aka the Xonebros namesake, is far too perky during his morning streams. This is positive gaming at its finest and whether your mom, dad, kid, RPG players, FPS freak, RTS nerd, or heaven forbid a sports game fan; there are guys and gals ready to share the experience on the Xonebros Discord. Now if you need a fix for some positive gaming go check out the new PGTV on Mixer or Twitter, for 24/7 awesomeness. So I leave you with something that I know David and the bros would tell each of you; everyone of you make up the world’s best gaming community, you are the reason they do this because you. You make this awesome, Thank you!

What's up nerds!!! This community is awesome! I've loved writing since I started college and I've loved video games since I was born! (almost true I started on my dad's NES when I was 4) So I decided why not do both, so I started a Youtube channel. Check it out here and give me a thumbs up! It's only a little sad I promise.
